Lee D. Schuchart:

Lee D. Schuchart grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh where he double-majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He attended law school at Michigan State University College of Law and graduated with a juris doctor degree. He began litigating while in law school via the Housing Law Clinic, where he became an expert in bed bug law and testified before the Michigan House of Representatives. While in law school, he interned in the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office, which provides valuable insight into both sides of the criminal justice process.

After law school, Lee spent 3.5 years working for the State Public Defender’s Office before joining the Schuchart Law Offices, LLC. While with the public defender’s office, he handled more than 1,000 cases and represented over 750 clients. Lee handled a wide range of cases, ranging from homicides, serious drug cases, serious juvenile delinquency cases, and OWIs, to simple disorderly conducts and other misdemeanors. Lee won multiple trials and successfully argued multiple motions to dismiss and suppress. Lee helped run the juvenile practice committee and was a leader in developing a strategic defense for Len Bias cases (1st Degree Reckless homicide).

In addition to state criminal cases, Lee also represents people who are charged in federal court.

Scott Stebbins:

Scott is from Middleton, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where he graduated with honors with dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish. In undergrad, Scott studied abroad in Argentina, served as a Justice on the Student Court, competed in Mock Trial, and participated in a variety of student-led organizations. Scott earned his juris doctorate, with high honors, from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In law school Scott served as the President for the Civil and Human Rights Legal Society, the Secretary for the Business Law Society, and as a staff member of the Law Review. Scott excelled and began further developing his litigation expertise through internships with the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office, the William Mitchell Law Clinic, the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and more.

Scott spent the first five years of his legal career as an Assistant State Public Defender. Scott fought hard for his clients and earned a reputation for being willing and able to go the distance. He frequently argued, and won, motions to suppress evidence based on unlawful searches and seizures. Scott successfully defended clients at lengthy and complex jury trials involving novel issues of law and difficult fact patterns. Scott gained valuable experience as a Public Defender working on all facets of criminal law with cases involving homicide, domestic violence, drugs, OWI/DUI, and more. Scott represented juveniles pursuant to Chapter 938, children pursuant to Chapter 48, and both minors and adults pursuant to Chapters 51 and 55.

Scott continues to fight for and obtain favorable results for his clients. He routinely challenges constitutional violations of individual liberties in counties throughout the State of Wisconsin. He has expanded his expertise into defending charges brought by the United States of America in the United States District Court, where he argues motions and jury trials. Scott also acquires outstanding outcomes for clients in other areas of law, including divorce, child custody, guardianship, restraining orders, and more. Scott is proud of his practice as a guardian ad litem, where he represents the best interests of those most in need including children, elderly, and mentally disadvantaged individuals.

Mackenzie T. Christensen:

Mackenzie T. Christensen grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she majored in Psychology and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She attended law school at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in law school, she interned in the Access to Justice Clinic, where she assisted clients with expungements of their criminal record. She was also an Associate Editor of the Law Review.

Mackenzie has diligently worked to obtain desirable results for her clients. She has represented both adults and juveniles involved in the criminal justice system. She is also guardian ad litem. When she is not in the office, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys reading, running, and studying the Bible.

Mackenzie handles primarily criminal cases, but she is willing to dive into any area of the law.


Leslie Boyle:

Leslie Boyle is a Paralegal. As a paralegal, Leslie’s main focus is Criminal Defense and Family Law. Leslie grew up in Ireland and moved to the United States in 1994. She is a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and after high school Leslie attended Griffith Collage Dublin where she earned her Certificate in Professional Photography.  Later on in life she decided to go back to college and attended NWTC where she obtained her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.


Matthew L. Van Grinsven:

Matthew L. Van Grinsven grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin.  He graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology: Law, Crime, and Deviance. Matthew’s belief that the criminal justice system disadvantages people accused of crimes lead him in the pursuit to become an attorney. Matthew earned his juris doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In law school Matthew served as the President for the Criminal Justice Society. He also participated in the Minnesota Justice Foundation and interned through the Minnesota State Public Defender’s Office.

After law school, Matthew returned to the Fox Cities and began practice primarily focused on criminal defense prior to joining Schuchart Law Offices, LLC. Matthew has consistently negotiated favorable outcomes for his clients. His main area of practice is criminal defense but he is willing to dive into any area of the law and  to apply the same zealous advocacy to achieve a favorable outcome.


Kaylie Johnson:

Kaylie Johnson is the Paralegal for Attorney Lee Schuchart. Her primary focus is on Criminal Law.  After graduating high school, Kaylie continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Superior where she majored in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in 2021.  Prior to joining our firm in May of 2022, Kaylie has gained experience in the legal and criminal justice field by working as a corrections counselor at a juvenile correction facility, and a legal assistant for multiple attorney’s focusing on various types of law.

In her free time, Kaylie enjoys working out, playing and coaching soccer, and spending time with her family and friends.


Kathy Mansbridge:

Kathy Mansbridge is the Discovery Clerk for the Schuchart Law Offices, LLC assisting all attorneys.  She also works as a paralegal for Federal cases for the office.  Kathy obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College.


Paige Reiswitz:

Paige Reiswitz is the paralegal for Attorney Mackenzie Christensen. She primarily works in the Marinette office and occasionally in the Green Bay Office. Paige is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. Paige strives to provide exceptional services to Attorney Christensen’s clients to ensure their legal expectations are met.

Paige enjoys hanging out with friends and family, coaching and playing basketball, working out, and rippin’ around on her jet ski in the summer with friends. Paige grew up in Menominee Michigan and graduated from Menominee High School in 2017. #GDTBAM


Julie Schwister:

Julie Schwister works in various areas of the firm related to finance and management. Julie attended the University of Wisconsin- Manitowoc, where she completed her associate degree in accounting. After, she moved to Green Bay and completed her bachelor’s degree at University of Wisconsin- Green Bay double-majoring in Accounting and Business Administration-Management, with a minor in finance. In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, weightlifting, going on hikes, and doing yoga.


Valeria Guillen:

Valeria Guillen is the paralegal for Attorney Scott Stebbins. Post high school graduation Valeria furthered her education in the Pre-Law program at St. Norbert College. She majored in Psychology and Spanish and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Spring 2023. She works closely with our Spanish-speaking clients. Valeria plans to attend law school, and hopes to become a criminal defense attorney.


Linnea Zintman:

Linnea Zintman grew up in the small town of Buffalo City, WI, on the Mississippi River.  Linnea decided she wanted to become a lawyer at age 15, and after becoming a panelist on the Buffalo/ Pepin County Teen Court program, she decided she would pursue a practice in criminal defense and family law.

Linnea attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay for her Bachelor of Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Democracy and Justice Studies and History, and a minor in Sociology.  While attending UWGB, Linnea was involved all over campus, including Student Court and working as a Resident Assistant and Peer Mentor.  She also completed a study abroad course in South Africa, an Honors in the Major project for History, and earned a Chancellor’s Medallion.

Linnea attended the University of Wisconsin Madison for Law School and graduated with honors in the family law concentration.  She continued to pursue opportunities to prepare for practice in family and criminal law.  She spent a year working with individuals who were incarcerated on their family law matters and spent another year interning with the Outagamie County District Attorney’s office where she discovered a passion for child welfare law.

Linnea’s practice now consists of criminal defense, child welfare defense, and various family law matters in Brown County and the surrounding areas.  She has also represented individuals in injunction matters and is a Guardian Ad Litem.


Lucia Sanchez:

Lucia Sanchez is the paralegal for Attorney Linnea Zintman. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys working closely with Spanish-speaking clients. She graduated from Saint Norbert College and received her bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology. While a student at SNC, Lucia studied abroad in Jordan and studied Refugee Health and Humanitarian Action where she worked closely with displaced populations. She aspires to be an immigration attorney and advocate for refugees and migrants in the country.
