Travis A. Crowell:

Travis A. Crowell grew up primarily in Northwest Indiana.  He attended Valparaiso University where he double-majored in Finance and Economics and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1994.  He then attended Valparaiso University School of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1997.

He spent the next 15 years working in the finance industry before founding the law firm in 2012.  His extensive financial experience gives him a unique insight into various areas of law such as Business formations and Will/Trust formation.  He moved to Green Bay in 2005 and has been a resident of Green Bay ever since.  He has been a landlord for over 10 years, and this experience assists him in providing both insight to other landlords and solutions to their tenant issues.

He is married and spends any free time helping to support and/or coach his kids.

Lee D. Schuchart:

Lee D. Schuchart grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh where he double-majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He attended law school at Michigan State University College of Law and graduated with a juris doctor degree. He began litigating while in law school via the Housing Law Clinic, where he became an expert in bed bug law and testified before the Michigan House of Representatives. While in law school, he interned in the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office, which provides valuable insight into both sides of the criminal justice process.

After law school, Lee spent 3.5 years working for the State Public Defender’s Office before joining the Law Offices of Crowell & Schuchart, LLC. While with the public defender’s office, he handled more than 1,000 cases and represented over 750 clients. Lee handled a wide range of cases, ranging from homicides, serious drug cases, serious juvenile delinquency cases, and OWIs, to simple disorderly conducts and other misdemeanors. Lee won multiple trials and successfully argued multiple motions to dismiss and suppress. Lee helped run the juvenile practice committee and was a leader in developing a strategic defense for Len Bias cases (1st Degree Reckless homicide).

In addition to state criminal cases, Lee also represents people who are charged in federal court.

Richard S. Zoellner:

Richard S. Zoellner grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for his undergraduate degree, where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of the Arts, majoring in Political Science and Legal Issues and also receiving a certificate in Criminal Justice. He attended the University of Wisconsin Law School for his juris doctor degree, graduating in 2019. While in law school, he gained experience by participating in the school’s Family Court Clinic, gaining experience in divorce and child custody issues, and the Prosecution Project, where he interned at the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.

In his free time, Ric enjoys listening to and playing music. He is able to play a wide variety of instruments including, strangely enough, the bagpipes.


Scott Stebbins:

Scott is from Middleton, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish. Scott earned his juris doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In law school Scott served as the President for the Civil and Human Rights Legal Society, the Secretary for the Business Law Society, and as a staff member of the Law Review. He also had several internships with the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office, the William Mitchell Law Clinic, the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and more. These internships allowed Scott to receive a vast array of practical legal experience within a variety of contexts.

Scott worked as an Assistant State Public Defender at the Green Bay Trial Office for over five years. Scott not only negotiated an immeasurable number of favorable outcomes for his clients, but he also routinely litigated before the Circuit Court. Scott argued, and won, multiple motions to suppress evidence based on unlawful searches and/or seizures. He also successfully represented clients at jury trials. Scott gained experience as a Public Defender working on all facets of criminal law with cases involving homicide, domestic violence, drugs, OWI/DUI, and more. Scott represented juveniles pursuant to Chapter 938, children pursuant to Chapter 48, and both minors and adults pursuant to Chapters 51 and 55. Scott is also a guardian at litem and federal defense attorney.

Mackenzie T. Christensen:

Mackenzie T. Christensen grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she majored in Psychology and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She attended law school at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in law school, she interned in the Access to Justice Clinic, where she assisted clients with expungements of their criminal record. She was also an Associate Editor of the Law Review.

Mackenzie is currently writing and editing her first novel, due to be published in October, 2021. She has been married for 4 years and has a 2-year-old daughter, who she spends most of her free time chasing around. She also enjoys reading, running, and studying the Bible.

Mackenzie handles primarily criminal cases, but she is willing to dive into any area of the law.


Shawna Noonan:

Shawna Noonan is both the Office Manager and Attorney Crowell’s Paralegal.  As the Office Manager, she keeps staff up to date on guidelines, policies and training.  As Attorney Crowell’s head paralegal, she focuses on Criminal Defense, Probate and Small Claims.

Shawna attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for her Associate Degree in ABA Approved Paralegal Studies.  She obtained her Associate Degree in 2013, and immediately thereafter, she began working as a Paralegal.  Subsequently, she went on to obtain her Certificate in Private Investigations from Fox Valley Technical College, and also obtained an Associate Degree in Security and Asset Protection Management from Fox Valley Technical College.  Shawna proudly served as a Sergeant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for 12 years.


Alexa Jones:

Alexa Jones is Attorney Schuchart’s Paralegal.  Her primary focus is on Family Law and Criminal Defense.  She has been with the Law Offices of Crowell & Schuchart since 2019.  Alexa is a local graduate of Bay Port High school and continues to reside within Brown County.  Prior to working for our firm, Alexa spent nearly ten years working in a variety of government offices including the Child Support Agency and Clerk of Courts.  On a personal level, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family and coaching her children’s various sport teams.


Rebecca Tomasik:

Rebecca Tomasik is the Paralegal for Attorney Scott Stebbins.  As Attorney Stebbins’ Paralegal, Rebecca’s main focus is Criminal Defense.  Rebecca has nearly five years’ experience in the legal field.  Rebecca grew up in Upper Michigan and studied Legal Studies & Business Administration at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI.


Taylor Zeinert:

Taylor Zeinert is Attorney Zoellner’s paralegal.  As his paralegal, she focuses on Criminal Defense and Family Law.  Taylor grew up in Clintonville, Wisconsin.  After her high school graduation, she continued her education at Carroll University and achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with emphasis in Legal Studies and Community Development.  She recently completed her degree in January of 2021 and is excited to start a new chapter at Crowell & Schuchart.


Cameron Lepkowski:

Cameron Lepkowski is Attorney Mackenzie Christensen’s Paralegal and the firm’s Social Media Coordinator.  As the Social Media Coordinator, he advertises for the firm and helps keep the community up to date with the firm and its activities.  As Attorney Christensen’s paralegal, he focuses on Criminal Defense.

Cameron Lepkowski grew up in Peshtigo, Wisconsin.  He originally attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to obtain a Spanish-Education degree.  Cameron now looks to pursue a legal career and continue his education.  Cameron is the proud father of his 3 guinea pigs Bernie, Otis and Theodore.


Kathy Mansbridge:

Kathy Mansbridge is the Discovery Clerk for the Law Offices of Crowell & Schuchart, assisting all attorneys.  She also works as a paralegal for Federal cases for the office.  Kathy obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College.


Dan Mendrala:

Dan Mendrala works as a paralegal, assisting all of our attorneys in various tasks.  He primarily works with Criminal Defense and Appellate cases.  Dan has been with the Law Offices of Crowell & Schuchart since May 2018.  Dan is a full-time student at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay campus. He is working toward a degree in mechanical engineering and plans to graduate in the spring of 2022.


Claire Folk:

Claire Folk is the bookkeeper with the Law Offices of Crowell & Schuchart.  She handles the billing and accounts receivable and payable side of the company as well as maintaining the company’s general ledger.

A La Crosse, WI native, Claire now resides in Suamico with her husband, Michael, and their two boys.  She enjoys spending time with her children, family, friends, and Bible study group.  Her hobbies include reading, playing video games with her husband, singing, writing music, and planning her next travel adventure around the world.
